Loughgall 2-2 Donegal Celtic
Carnegie Premier League - Saturday, 30th September, 2006
DONEGAL Celtic staged a last gasp smash and grab to share the spoils with Loughgall at Lakeview Park.

The Villagers appeared to be coasting at two goals up with five minutes remaining but the visitors hit back in the most dramatic of finales.

Loughgall had taken the lead on 29 minutes through a Chris Guiney header after Stevie Coulter had floated the ball over following a Johnny Topley attack.

And they doubled their advantage three minutes from the break when Keith Percy reacted quickest to turn home the loose ball from a Coulter free-kick only parried by Alex Spackman.

Donegal Celtic looked to be heading for defeat until that late, late twist.

First, on 85 minutes, Ciaran Donaghy reduced the arrears with a header from a corner then, four minutes into stoppage time, Paul 'Maxi' McVeigh curled a sweetly executed free-kick beyond the wall and past Stuart Addis to send the visitng fans into raptures.
