Dungannon Swifts 4-1 Coleraine
Carnegie Premier League - Saturday, 29th December, 2007
DUNGANNON Swifts bounced back emphatically from their recent slump to comprehensively defeat Coleraine at Stangmore Park.

Michael Hegarty fired Dungannon into an early lead when he swept the ball past Davy O'Hare after Paul Forker had delivered a cross from the right.

Rodney McAree made it 2-0 on 29 minutes when he calmly converted a spot-kick after John Neill had tugged Adam McMinn's shirt.

Shea Campbell added to Coleraine's woes with a third goal on 36 minutes when he turned home the rebound after O'Hare could only push away a McAree free-kick from just outside the area.

Coleraine were reduced to ten men on the hour when Tony Anderson was dismissed for a push on Darren Murphy but their afternoon was brightened a little in the 65th minute when Tommy McCallion reduced the arrears with a long range effort past Dwayne Nelson.

However the Swifts restored their three goal cushion on 76 minutes when Niall McGinn chipped O'Hare from an Austin Friel ball.
