Armagh City 1-0 Limavady United
Carnegie Premier League - Saturday, 27th October, 2007
ARMAGH City recorded their first victory of the season with this defeat of Limavady United at Holm Park.

Austin McCann had the first effort of note after 11 minutes but his shot drifted wide of the target while Shane Coney tested 'keeper Glen Millar from 20 yards on the half-hour.

At the other end Gareth Tommins came close for the Roesiders with a low drive which Stuart Addis dealt with well.

Millar was in action again on 59 minutes to deny Sean Cleary while a minute later Colin Magill burst through only to finish poorly.

The winner almost arrived on 70 minutes when Johnny McSorley sent the ball over the defence for Conor Forker but Millar was on hand to make the save.

But he was beaten just a minute later when Forker was played through by Coney to touch the ball past the on-rushing 'keeper.
