Donegal Celtic 1-2 Lisburn Distillery
Carnegie Premier League - Wednesday, 26th December, 2007
LISBURN Distillery moved back into fourth spot with this Boxing Day defeat of Donegal Celtic at Celtic Park.

The deadlock was almost broken as early as the fourth minute when Sean Armstrong got on the end of a quickly taken free-kick to rattle the Whites crossbar from distance.

However, it fell to Gary Browne to open the scoring on 20 minutes with a well taken set piece awarded for a foul on Andrew Waterworth.

And they doubled their advantage on 53 minutes when Waterworth collected the ball from Browne before proceeding to take it through the home defence and past Declan Brown.

Celtic pulled one back six minutes later, though, thanks to a Ciaran Gargan volley but any hopes of salvaging something from the game vanished with Liam Bradley's dismissal eight minutes from time for a second bookable offence.
