Dungannon Swifts 3-1 Loughgall
Carnegie Premier League - Tuesday, 26th December, 2006
DUNGANNON Swifts came from behind to claim the points from this festive encounter at Stangmore Park against struggling Loughgall.

The Villagers, still without a permanent replacement for Jimmy Gardiner, stunned the home crowd with the opening goal after just five minutes when Paul Baron fired home from an acute angle following a defensive lapse by the normally reliable Johnny Montgomery.

However the Swifts levelled on 27 minutes through Rodney McAree who gave keeper Marc Robinson no chance from eight yards after collecting a cross from the left.

They then moved into the lead two minutes from the break when Montgomery atoned for his earlier error to head home a David Scullion ball at the far post.

Loughgall's hopes of pulling back into the game were dealt a blow on 59 minutes following Noel Robinson's dismissal for a challenge on Mark McAllister.

And it was game, set and match Dungannon just three minutes later when the unfortunate Darragh Peden saw a Scullion effort deflect off him and past Marc Robinson.
