Armagh City 1-3 Newry City
Carnegie Premier League - Tuesday, 26th December, 2006
NEWRY City picked up their first win in six outings with this Boxing Day defeat of Armagh City at Holm Park.

Paddy McLaughlin got the ball rolling with the opening goal after just six minutes when he was allowed to head home - unmarked - a Damien Curran corner.

However Shea Campbell levelled for City barely sixty seconds later from a Mark Turkington ball, his ninth goal of the campaign to date.

Newry regained their lead on 13 minutes, though, when he turned home a right wing cross from close range.

And Roy Coyle's side might have extended their advantage later in the game through Andy Crawford and Stephen Ferguson before, on 62 minutes, Darren King ensured victory with a 25-yard drive.
