The Whites moved in front three minutes from the break when Andrew Waterworth nipped in to meet a Gary Browne ball and slot it beyond 'keeper Michael Dougherty.

However, Glentoran levelled within 30 seconds of the new half after Colin Nixon and David Scullion combined for Kyle Neill to head home at the far post.

The visitors regained the advantage after an hour, though, courtesy of recent signing Chris Kingsberry who curled the ball past Dougherty from 12 yards after collecting an Andy Kilmartin pass.

But they were to be denied their first victory over the Glens this season when Neill popped up right at the end to beat Philip Matthews from distance.
