CRUSADERS continued their rich vein of form with this four goal trouncing of Glenavon at Mourneview Park, the third time this month they've bagged as many goals in a game.

And as with Saturday's defeat of Newry City it was Darren Lockhart who opened the scoring when, on 29 minutes, he tapped the ball into the empty net after David Rainey had teed him up following a mix-up in the home rearguard.

Rainey made it 2-0 on the hour when he met a Chris Morrow cross from the left that wasn't picked up by several Glenavon defenders before Jordan Owens, on 76 minutes, added a third with a header from a Tony Gorman cross, also from the left.

He then made it three goals in two games with his second on 87 minutes when he was allowed to proceed unhindered through the defence to slot the ball past Paul Cairnduff.
