Glentoran 2-1 Newry City
Carnegie Premier League - Saturday, 24th November, 2007
GLENTORAN came from behind to secure all three points from crucial table topper with Newry City and kept themselves ahead of the chasing pack.

Jason Hill grabbed the winner with just six minutes remaining when he collected the ball from Dean Fitzgerald before curling it past Robert Robinson into the bottom corner from around 12 yards.

The visitors had opened the scoring on 63 minutes through on-loan signing Stephen Garrett. Sean Friars delivered the ball from the right for Garrett to steal in past Elliott Morris and slot the ball home from close range.

But the Glens levelled in the 76th minute when Northern Ireland U21 international Daryl Fordyce unleashed a stunning 25 yard effort into the top corner after a cross from the right wasn't properly cleared.
