Newry City 2-1 Crusaders
Carnegie Premier League - Saturday, 24th March, 2007
CRUSADERS' hopes of a top four finish were dealt a savage blow with this defeat at the Newry Showgrounds.

Newry open the scoring on 33 minutes when full-back Niall Hudson picked out Cormac McArdle in the six yard box to slot home.

It was a lead they held until the 64th minute when David Larmour converted a penalty awarded when home full back Brian Kelly handled in the area.

The winner came six minutes from time when Darren King found James Willis with a long ball out of defence but with it looking like a seemingly lost cause he somehow cut the ball in from byline into the top corner of Neil Armstrong's goal.
