LISBURN Distillery made it ten league games unbeaten with this narrow defeat of Armagh City at New Grosvenor to bolster their chances of a top four finish.

What proved to be the winner came on 57 minutes through Ryan McCann who curled a low free-kick from some 20 yards around the wall and into the bottom of Stuart Addis' goal.

They might have moved in front around the half-hour mark, though, when Nathan McConnell almost turned home a Peter McCann low right sided cross only for Addis to keep out both the initial effort and the rebound.

And Addis saved the visitors again on 75 minutes with a good stop from Peter McCann while Darren Armour was unable to keep the follow up on target.
