Coleraine 2-0 Armagh City
Carnegie Premier League - Saturday, 19th April, 2008
A STEPHEN Carson strike was the highlight of this otherwise typical end of season encounter at The Showgrounds.

He struck on 52 minutes to open the scoring with a stunning right-foot effort from the edge of the area which gave City 'keeper Paul Colgan no chance.

The visitors might have levelled on the hour, however, only for Shane McGeown to strike the crossbar with a well taken free-kick which left Bannsiders 'keeper Laurence McCormick stranded.

Coleraine doubled their advantage - and sealed the points - with eight minutes remaining when Damien Whitehead fired a low shot beyond Colgan following good work by David Patton.
