LARNE moved into second spot in Group B with this crucial defeat of Armagh City at Inver Park.

Marty Hunter fired Larne in front after 13 minutes with a simple headed rebound after a Ross Black free-kick was knocked onto the bar by 'keeper Stuart Addis.

That was how it stayed until the 74th minute when Colin Magill responded for City with a curling effort over the advancing Chris Keenan.

Larne restored their lead almost immediately through Aaron Black from a Bertie Fulton right wing ball.

Then, five minutes later, Paul Hamilton made sure of the points for the Inver Reds with a scrambled finish from a Marty Verner cross.
