Limavady United 2-3 Newry City
Carnegie Premier League - Saturday, 17th March, 2007
NEWRY City twice led, found themselves twice pegged back before going on to claim full points from this mid-table Carnegie Premier League clash at the Rathmore Road Showgrounds.

James Willis edged them in front on 10 minutes when he got on the end of a Steven Ferguson through ball to send a right-foot effort past Michael Doherty

Cormac McArdle might have doubled their lead but the Roesiders levelled on 35 minutes, though, when Austin Friel delivered a low right-foot shot into the bottom corner of Robert Robinson's goal.

Willis restored Newry's advantage two minutes after the break when he flicked home a Darren King ball from the edge of the area but Limavady equalised again two minutes after the hour when Martin Cutmore converted from the spot despite Robinson getting his hands to the ball.

However Newry claimed the points six minutes from time when Ian Curran fired home from the edge of the box and off both posts after a corner wasn't cleared by the home defence.
