GLENTORAN maintained their title challenge with this comfortable defeat of relegation haunted Loughgall at The Oval.

They opened the scoring through Michael Halliday on 25 minutes when he broke through the Loughgall offside trap to slot the ball past keeper Marc Robinson.

Willo McDonagh then struck the woodwork from 12 yards before, on 38 minutes, Gary Hamilton doubled their advantage with a back post header after Halliday broke and squared the ball across the area.

Michael Ward added a third on 78 minutes with a shot from the right and, six minutes later, Halliday who turned and fired past Robinson after collecting the ball with his back to the goal.
