GLENAVON'S recent revival continued with this defeat of JJB Sports Irish Cup semi-finalists Coleraine at The Showgrounds to move seven points clear of the drop zone.

David Morris headed them in front on 33 minutes when he connected 16 yards out with a Gerard McMahon cross.

And McMahon might have opened the scoring moments before that only for his 25-yard effort to strike the outside of a post.

The closest the Bannsiders came to levelling was John Neill's injury time effort which was hooked off the line by a grateful Glenavon defence.
