Glentoran 3-1 Lisburn Distillery
Carnegie Premier League - Saturday, 14th October, 2006
GLENTORAN made it four wins out of four with this top of the table victory over Lisburn Distillery at The Oval.

It keeps them two points clear of the chasing pack and with the only 100% record in league football this season.

They needed just 18 minutes to break the deadlock when Jason Hill turned the ball home from close range after a Michael Halliday diving header came back off the crossbar.

And it was 2-0 on 37 minutes when Hill fired the ball into the area for Halliday to blast into the roof of the net for what was his 100th goal for the club.

Then, five minutes into the second half, Gary Hamilton killed the game when he collected a ball from the right before taking it past keeper Philip Matthews and depositing in the unguarded net.

The Whites did grab a 75th minute consolation for their efforts when Darren Armour converted a spot-kick awarded for a Hill foul on Ryan Catney.
