Crusaders 2-1 Dungannon Swifts
Carnegie Premier League - Saturday, 14th October, 2006
CRUSADERS moved back into third spot following this hard earned victory over Dungannon Swifts at Seaview which saw both sides end the game with ten men.

The first half was a largely uneventful affair save for a Chris Morrow effort on 31 minutes which was ruled out offside.

However the second period was much more exciting and produced the opening goal just eight minutes in when Mark McAllister was on hand to knock home the rebound from a David Scullion effort which struck the bar.

Crusaders levelled within six minutes, though, when David Rainey played the ball over the defence for Stephen Shaw to run on to and despatch past Dwayne Nelson.

The Swifts were reduced to ten men on 74 minutes when Ryan McCluskey collected a red card following a bout of dissent.

And worse was to follow for the visitors five minutes from time when Rainey grabbed what proved to be the winner when he met a Stephen McBride cross to fire beyond Nelson's reach.

However Rainey was later red carded after an injury time clash with Swifts defender JP Gallagher.
