THERE was little more than pride at stake in this Group C encounter at Seaview, a game which saw the Crues keep a third successive clean sheet.

The Crues might have opened the scoring after 19 minutes when Chris Morrow beat the advancing Declan Brown to the ball but his header just sailed narrowly over the bar.

At the other end Conor McGourty had penalty claims waved away by referee Stephen Weatherall moments from the break.

That aside there was little endeavour shown in front of goal from either side until the 82nd minute when Brown could only knock an Eamon McAllister ball across the face of goal with the lurking David Rainey unable to connect.
