Armagh City 1-5 Crusaders
JJB Sports Irish Cup - Saturday, 12th January, 2008
CRUSADERS turned on the style to stroll past Armagh City in this fifth round JJB Sports Irish Cup tie.

Seamus Brown opened the scoring on 20 minutes when he got on the end of a Darren Lockhart ball from the right to finish emphatically past Stuart Addis.

And he doubled his tally just a couple of minutes later with a header after the ball arrived from the left flank.

The tie was put beyond doubt three minutes after the hour through Eamon Doherty who turned the ball home at the back post before, on 77 minutes, he added a fourth from close range after David Rainey had delivered the ball into the area.

City earned a consolation just a minute later when Gary Fitzpatrick met a Mark Turkington free-kick with his head but with seven minutes remaining Rainey made it 5-1 with a volley from an Eamon McAllister right-sided cross.
