Linfield 5-0 Larne
Carnegie Premier League - Saturday, 11th November, 2006
LINFIELD made it nine goals in two CPL games with this 5-0 annihilation of Larne at Windsor Park to move into third spot in the table.

Glenn Ferguson puts the Blues ahead on 17 minutes with a volley into the bottom corner after collecting a low Stephen Douglas cross.

Eight minutes later Jamie Mulgrew made it 2-0 with a thunderous drive into the top corner while two minutes after the interval Peter Thompson added a third when the ball fell for him 12 yards out after a Thomas Stewart cross caused confusion in the penalty area.

The scoring continued on 80 minutes through substitute Chris Kingsberry with a simple goal from a Ferguson pass.

Then, five minutes later, Mark Dickson knocked home another after by finishing off a Ferguson header from a Kingsberry corner.
