Dungannon Swifts 5-1 Armagh City
Carnegie Premier League - Saturday, 10th November, 2007
DUNGANNON Swifts continued their climb back up the table with this thumping of Armagh City at Stangmore Park but they had to recover from an early setback to do so.

David Hawthorne fired City into an early lead when, on five minutes, he delivered the ball into the bottom right hand corner after collecting a Shane Coney cross.

However the Swifts levelled on 35 minutes after Rodney McAree tucked away a penalty awarded for a Gary Fitzpatrick foul on Mark McAllister.

And they moved in front right on the stroke of half-time when Niall McGinn knocked on a Ryan McCluskey cross from the right for Shea Campbell to score at the back post.

It was 3-1 on 82 minutes when Shea Campbell pounced after Stuart Addis dropped an Adrian McCaffrey shot.

Armagh were then reduced to ten men following Mark Gracey's dismissal for alleged violent conduct before falling further behind two minutes later when McCaffrey crossed for Mark McAllister to head home.

Shane McCabe completed the rout in stoppage time when he tapped the ball past Addis from close range.
