Dundela 0-3 Carrick Rangers
Carnegie First Division - Saturday, 9th September, 2006
CARRICK Rangers got their Carnegie First Division challenge off to a blistering start with this 3-0 defeat of a Dundela side who ended the game with just nine men.

The visitors opened the scoring on 39 minutes through Glen Taggart who unleashed an impressive 30-yard drive which Tony Miskelly in the home goal little chance.

And William Grattan made it 2-0 five minutes after the hour when he created space on the right before taking the ball past a defender and sending home a low shot.

The Duns were reduced to ten men on 80 minutes when Stephen Gourley walked for appearing to kick an opponent with team-mate Mark Parker joining him for an early bath eight minutes later.

Then, with barely a minute left, Neil Corr knocked in Carrick's third from five yards.
