Crusaders 1-0 Limavady United
CIS Insurance Cup - Saturday, 8th September, 2007
CRUSADERS clinched a CIS Insurance Cup quarter-final berth with this slender defeat of Limavady United at Seaview, a far cry from the earlier nine goal thriller the sides produced a fortnight ago.

The Crues might have taken the lead after seven minutes but Eamon Doherty fired just over from a great position while a minute later Barry Curran came close at the other end when one-on-one with Gregg Shannon but the keeper kept his cool to snuff out the danger.

Martin Reilly came close with a couple of efforts inside a minute around the half-hour mark while, on 38 minutes, a David Rainey turn and shot was well saved by Glenn Millar.

And it was Rainey who eventually found a way through on 85 minutes with a deflected effort from the edge of the area.
