Armagh City 4-2 Limavady United
Carnegie Premier League - Saturday, 3rd February, 2007
ARMAGH City picked up their first home win of 2007 with this comprehensive defeat of Limavady United at Holm Park.

Indeed, they led by four goals at the break thanks to a double apiece from Shea Campbell and Kieran O'Connor before the Roesiders struck twice in the second half.

They only needed six minutes to open the scoring when O'Connor pounced to turn home the loose ball after a Campbell effort was blocked by 'keeper Alan Ryan.

Campbell then added a second some 20 minutes later with a well executed spot-kick after Joe Gray had brought down Shane Coney.

And he made it 3-0 on 36 minutes with a simple touch at the back post to knock home a Stephen Hyndes cross before, right on the stroke of half-time, O'Connor grabbed his second of the afternoon with a 20-yard volley after Mark Turkington and Austin McCann had combined to create the opening.

The Roesiders almost fell further behind early in the second half through a Turkington volley but they did recover to pull one back on 61 minutes through a 15-yard low Austin Friel drive before, in stoppage time, Philip Lowry popped up to add a modicum of respectability to the scoreline with their second.
