Crusaders 4-1 Larne
Carnegie Premier League - Saturday, 1st March, 2008
LARNE slipped to their third straight defeat with this reversal at Crusaders which leaves them hanging periously above the relegation trapdoor.

They might have have moved into the lead as early as the opening minute, though, when Noel Anderson fired a shot against an upright.

The deadlock was broken after half-an-hour when Jordan Owens collected the ball from David Rainey to keep his cool and round 'keeper Chris Keenan.

But Larne levelled five minutes from the break through Anderson who picked the ball up some 20 yards from goal before firing past Aaron Kerr.

However the Crues regained the advantage on 46 minutes courtesy of Stevie Coulter who unleashed a bullet like free-kick into the top corner from some 20 yards.

And they extended it on 58 minutes from the spot when Barry Spence fired into the top corner when Stephen Hyndes was upended by 'keeper Keenan.

Seamus Brown added a fourth with 10 minutes remaining with ease after Chris Morrow laid the ball off into his path.
