Limavady United 0-3 Armagh City
Carnegie Premier League - Friday, 1st February, 2008
LIMAVADY United remain rooted to the foot of the table following this heavy home defeat at the hands of Gary McKinstry's Armagh City.

The visitors only needed six minutes to open the scoring when Shane Coney directed a Cian Mackey cross past 'keeper Glenn Millar.

Limavady might have levelled midway through the first half when Ryan McIlmoyle had a volley saved by Stuart Addis while Barry Curran had a later goal bound effort cleared off the line.

However City doubled their advantage on 56 minutes when Ryan Mullan brought down Liam Cullen in the area - for which Mullan received a red card - with Austin McCann converting the resultant spot-kick.

McIlmoyle almost reduced the arrears on 72 minutes only for his shot to clip the crossbar but three minutes later Mackey added a third for Armagh from close range to put the issue beyond doubt.
