Pass on the Passion Campaign Dates
Sunday, 16th March, 2008
SINCE February and until the end of the season, a number of promotions have been and will be running through the above mentioned clubs to help spread the word of the local game.

The first campaign of 2008 was aimed at raising awareness amongst school children in the local area.

Working with the local schools, children were offered the chance to watch Portadown, Linfield, Larne, and Donegal Celtic free of charge, as long as they were accompanied by a full paying adult.

The same clubs also supported the second promotion, which enabled schools to raise some valuable revenue by selling tickets for two League games. By selling tickets to pupils, participating schools gained £5 of every £10 ticket sold.

The money raised contributed towards buying new sports equipment or reading materials or used to improve school facilities.

The final two campaigns of the season will be supported by Cliftonville, Donegal Celtic, Portadown, Coleraine, Larne and Linfield.

The two campaigns, one entitled 'Ladies Day' and the other involving 'direct mail' will run during March and April 2008. 'Ladies day', obviously aimed at attracting more females to attend matches, will entitle all ladies to half price entry with a discount voucher (printed in the Morton Newspaper Group and the News Letter).

The voucher will be printed in the papers the relevant week of the offer (see details in table below). The direct mail campaign involves over 1000 homes surrounding the club grounds being targeted with a special offer in the post.

Details of matches at which the two promotions will be aimed at will be covered next week.
